IVINS – Equality Utah will host its Halloween-themed Intergalactic Space Universe party Oct. 27, from 7 to 11 p.m., in Kayenta.
Featuring alien-themed games, entertainment and beverages, the party welcomes everyone, “regardless of planetary origin.” Costume is required to enter, and a prize will be given out for the best.
For the second year, the party will be held in the Coyote Gulch Art Village in Kayenta.
“The success of last year’s Halloween party and the incredible support of our community inspired us to continue the fun this year,” Equality Utah’s Southern Field Coordinator Elise West said.
Equality Utah works to secure equal rights and protections for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender Utahns and their families. The Intergalactic Space Universe party is one of many upcoming events that will be held in the area in the group’s effort to expand its influence to Southern Utah.
The party is restricted to adults age 21 and older, with valid identification. Due to the limited capacity of the venue, all patrons must pre-register online. Tickets cost $20; a $15 early-bird special will run until Oct. 20. All proceeds benefit Equality Utah’s political action committee efforts to elect fair-minded candidates.
