The night kicked off at 5 p.m. at the Washington City Community Center, located at 350 N. Community Center Drive in Washington, and featured an endless array of entertainers including Mikalene, Lyndy Butler and Steve Lemon, Identity Crisis, Famous Unknowns and DJ Festive Sounds. New Year’s Eve celebrants didn’t skip a beat clapping, cheering and singing along with the featured bands.

The most action-packed event of the night and crowd favorite was the Mad Chad chainsaw juggling act which had people on the edge of their seat throughout the entire performance as he juggled chainsaws, knives and a wide variety of unique and thrilling items.

Many partygoers brought their swimsuits and took part in the dive-in movie which offered the movies “Maleficent,” “Frozen Sing Along” and “Guardians of the Galaxy” for swimmers to enjoy while they took a dip in the pool.

The event also featured a dazzling fireworks display and a balloon drop filled with $500 in cash for those lucky and fast enough to grab a balloon.

There was no shortage of fun with separate rooms offering a variety of activities that took place throughout the night. There were also many mouthwatering treats and other food offered by Waffle Love, Texas Roadhouse, Mama Knows Pizza and more.

The New Year’s Bash was a perfect way to say farewell to 2014, and ring in 2015 with a bang.
