ST. GEORGE — Dixie Regional Medical Center will host a free heart health seminar Wednesday from 10 a.m. until noon in the SelectHealth Auditorium at 1424 E. Foremaster Drive, across the street south of the hospital’s River Road campus.
“The best part about the forum is it gives attendees an opportunity to ask the cardiologists any question,” said Michael Gargano, cardiovascular program specialist. “It’s the perfect place to have questions or concerns answered by experts.”
Dr. Ralph Jensen will talk about how to recognize the signs of heart disease.
Dr. Carrie Willis will explain specific information women need to know about heart health.
Dr. Jason Bowles’ presentation will address the impact of frailty on cardiac surgery.
“Our hope is to educate people while they are healthy,” Gargano said.
“If we can teach people how to prevent problems, we save not only lives, but improve people’s quality of life.”
There is no charge to attend, but space is limited. To reserve a seat please call 435-251-1992 by Monday.
