Her love of watercolor and oil in landscapes, portraits and still life show her enthusiasm for these media. “Nature always proves to be the best model,” she said. “A hike along a trail provides a painting waiting to happen,”

Born in Salt Lake City to Howard and Shirley Riley, Millecam is the oldest of five children. Her family later moved to Payson, where she grew up on a fruit farm. She credits her mother and father for teaching her how to work, which extended to the education field later in her life.

Upon graduating from Utah State with a Bachelor of Education in Fine Arts, she taught at Vernal Junior High. Receiving her Master of Education through the University of Utah, she became an administrator working several positions within the Uintah School District.

After retiring, she has furthered her studies in art with many artists. Giving credit for their skills of teaching, she has appreciated all the opportunities to attend workshops.

Millecam lives in Vernal and also has a home in St. George. Seven children and 19 grandchildren bring joy to her life.

Her work is dedicated to her late husband, John Millecam, who provided the means and support for her accomplishments.
