ST. GEORGE — According to the National Weather Service, this weekend’s weather for the majority of southwestern Utah will include warmer temperatures and sunny skies. There is a hazardous weather warning for the western two thirds of Utah, with some scattered thunderstorms predicted more in the northern part of the state Friday but fire weather conditions predicted in Southern Utah.

St. George

Sunny with a high of 100 and low of 70, with winds of 5-7 mph in the afternoon, picking up a little after midnight.

Cedar City

Weather warnings and advisories
A hazardous weather outlook has been issues for the western two thirds of Utah that includes isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms. A gusty dry southwest flow is expected to develop moving into next week. Critical fire weather conditions are possible Tuesday through Thursday due to low humidity and strong winds.
