ST. GEORGE — South Jordan Police have issued an Amber Alert after four children were abducted from their home by a suspect driving a white Toyota Tacoma with California plates.
Updated 1:36 p.m.: The Amber Alert issued Sunday morning has been cancelled, according to a tweet issued by South Jordan police at 12:10 p.m. on Sunday, after the four children were located safe in California. The children were were with their mother, Allison Brimhall, who police say did not have permission to take the children from their biological father, who has temporary custody of the girls.
The first of the four children abducted is identified as 12-year-old Hazelle Brimhall, 4 feet 11 inches tall and weighs approximately 80 pounds.
The second child has identified by police as 11-year-old Berlynn Brimhall. She has brown hair and brown eyes and is 4 feet 5 inches tall and weighs about 65 pounds.
The third child has been identified by authorities as 9-year-old Autumn Brimhall. She has brown hair and brown eyes. She is 4 feet tall and weighs approximately 55 pounds.
The fourth child abducted has been identified by South Jordan Police as 9-year-old Adelyne Brimhall. She has brown hair and brown eyes. She is 4 feet tall and weighs about 55 pounds.
It is believed that the girls were taken by their biological mother Allison Brimhall. Allison is a 39 year old adult female who is the mother of the four girls. Allison is 5 foot 4 inches tall and weighs approximately 110 pounds with strawberry blonde hair and blue eyes.
According to police, the children were taken from their home in South Jordan, the afternoon of Dec. 11, by the suspect.
