This fall, Red Cliffs aims to further highlight The Terrace, among other improvements, with a concert series featuring dazzling performances from a diverse lineup of musicians based right here in Southern Utah.

“We’d really love for everyone to come out and join us,” general manager Cory Ashby said. “We just want to be a good community member and become the hub for what’s happening in Southern Utah.”

The fall concert series will continue on Saturday, Oct. 14, with singer-songwriter Sarah Jane and her band. If you’re looking for a bite to eat while you rock out, WannaCinn and Kaiseki Sushi will be offering exclusive deals.

Sarah Jane, a native of Southern Utah, has been performing professionally for the past eight years. Featuring both covers and original songs, her concert promises to captivate audiences with her powerful vocals and thoughtful twists on classic tunes.

The fall concert series kicked off on Sept. 30 with a performance from The 8eez, a Cedar City-based band specializing in everything ’80s. The weather was perfect, Ashby said, and about 200 people attended.

Red Cliffs will continue to celebrate exciting local talent all season long. Offering good vibes and heavy grooves, Mr. OK & The Last Light are sure to get everybody moving with their unique mix of funk, hip-hop and reggae on Saturday, Oct. 28. And on Saturday, Nov. 11, the Siva Pasefika cultural group will bring the spirit of Polynesia to Southern Utah with a showcase of music and dance deeply rooted in tradition.

“We’re supporting local musicians by creating an atmosphere for people to relax and enjoy the best time of year in Southern Utah,” said Sarah Spagnolo, event and marketing coordinator for Red Cliffs. “We just want to add to our community.”

Each concert lasts from 7-9 p.m. and is free to attend. Limited seating will be provided, so guests are encouraged to bring a chair or a blanket and make themselves comfortable on the grassy area near the stage. Along with enjoying live music, concertgoers can browse a variety of vendor booths.

Red Cliffs has been Southern Utah’s premier retail destination since opening in 1990. As the only major indoor shopping center between Las Vegas and the Wasatch Front, it features more than 60 stores and nearly 450,000 square feet of retail space.

With grass areas, waterfalls and seating built into the landscape, The Terrace is the centerpiece of an ongoing rejuvenation project that aligns the mall’s offerings with what today’s customers want and need. That includes even more shopping and dining options, like the Al’s Sporting Goods, Tillys, WannaCinn and Kaiseki Sushi locations that opened earlier this year.

“We always have something going on,” Ashby said. “Red Cliffs is the community’s place to shop, eat and play. It’s the place to be.”
