ST. GEORGE — The Winter Concert Series, a festive celebration of music that proved to be an instant hit with community members of all ages in its inaugural season, seeks to build upon its success with a second year of fantastic performers dotting the 2023-24 slate, according to a press release issued by the city.
The concerts take place once a month from October through January, beginning at 7 p.m. at St. George’s venerable Electric Theater (68 E. Tabernacle Street). All shows are free to attend. The series includes the following artists:
- Oct. 16: Paige and The Overtones (Alternative Country)
- Nov. 13 Runaway Fire (Alternative Rock)
- Dec. 18: Color Country Choir Christmas (Holiday Choir)
- Jan. 15: The 8eez (1980’s Dance)
“We had full houses for all four of our winter concerts last year, which showed us exactly what we suspected — that St. George has a high demand for live musical performances,” said Peyton Lee, Community Arts Manager for the City of St. George. “The Winter Concert Series presents a great opportunity for everyone to see talented, up-and-coming performers in an intimate and historic setting. It’s also an awesome way to connect with family and community members.”
Seating for all Winter Concert Series events is available on a first-come, first-served basis, and is limited to the capacity of the building (300). Doors open 20 minutes prior to the performance.
