Update, May 1: Police confirmed Irvine was found dead at a St. George residence. No other details were released.

The 37-year-old man was last seen March 28, wearing black pants and a black shirt and driving a 2012 blue Chevrolet Cruze, according to the St. George Police Department. He is 6-foot-1 and weighs 160 pounds. He has blue eyes and buzzed, brown hair.

Irvine’s aunt Gina Smith told St. George News that the vehicle has a Utah license plate with the number F576RB.

The family is searching for him in St. George and has flown over the area in an airplane piloted by a private citizen interested in assisting. Smith said they are concerned about his mental state.

“We need some kind of community help,” she said in an email, adding that while they’re worried he may not be alive, he likely didn’t go far — possibly 20 miles — from home.

Tyler Irvine has reportedly not used his debit card or cell phone since he left his home, his cousin Jolene Irvine posted to Facebook.

“He lives in the Green Valley area and left with only a few dollars,” she wrote. “We are very worried about him.”

“Please help any way you can,” Smith added.

Those with information concerning Irvine’s whereabouts should call the St. George Police Department at 435-627-4300 and reference incident 24P008223.
