ST. GEORGE – In celebration of the upcoming 20th anniversary, Comics Plus and Megaplex Theatres will host the Big Screen Star Trek event on Nov. 22, at the Washington Red Cliffs Theatres, 1750 E. Red Cliffs Drive, St. George. Show your support of the Star Trek universe by coming out to enjoy this classic, sci-fi film on the silver screen once more.
Two Captains. One Destiny.
“Star Trek: Generations” unites Capt. Kirk (William Shatner) and Capt. Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) in a time-jumping race to stop a madman’s quest for the energy ribbon known as the Nexus. The Nexus nearly destroys the newly christened U.S.S. Enterprise-B, the just-retired Capt. Kirk is lost and presumed dead, but he’s actually trapped in the timeless purgatory of the Nexus–an idyllic state. Capt. Picard must convince Kirk to leave this artificial comfort zone and confront Dr. Soran (Malcolm McDowell), the madman who will threaten billions of lives to be reunited with the pleasure of the Nexus. This crossover movie provides fans a passing of the torch to the Next Generation with dignity and entertaining adventure.
