ST. GEORGE — July is usually when the pests show up, and horticulturist Rick Heflebower is presenting a workshop, “What’s Eating You? Pest Management,” Saturday, 10 a.m., at the Tonaquint Nature Center.
Heflebower, horticulturist for Utah State University Extension, will go over what pests currently seem to be plaguing the county and what to do about it. Coping and management strategies will be presented.
The workshop will be taught at Tonaquint Nature Center, located in Tonaquint Park at 1851 S. Dixie Drive in St. George.
This workshop is free and part of the “Community Water-wise Landscape Workshop Series.”
